Mr. Kothapally Krishna Reddy founded the CSR Memorial Foundation in memory of his grandparents: Dr. Marri Channa Reddy, Smt. Marri Savithri Devi, and Sri Kothapally Ramchandra Reddy, who played a pivotal role in shaping his life and character.
Born on January 13th, 1919, Dr. Channa Reddy was a towering political personality who rose from a humble agricultural background to become a State Minister, Union Cabinet Minister, and Governor of multiple states including Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Tamil Nadu.
Known as 'Amma' to everyone, she was married to Dr. Channa Reddy for over 60 years. With her spiritual mindset, she was a source of courage and inspiration, dedicating her life to supporting her husband's mission and family.
A principled landowner from Pulimamidi Village, he was known for his commitment to education. He donated significant land for local government schools and was involved in the Bhoodan movement, supporting community development.
